Decisions...decisions...

We are considering broadening the business. It took me forever to figure out just the right name for my business. When I came up with Homemade Mama, I fell in love with it because I knew it could cover anything and everything I could possibly want to create with my own two hands.

Well now the business is becoming about more then just me. Dear hubby would also like to get involved, so we're considering starting up a new site, and keeping my site as a 'sister' site to the new one.

So what do you think of these two names, and what do the names make you think of when you read them?

HomemadeHomestead.com

ThePrairieHome.com

Which do you prefer? What do you think of when you read/think of each name?

We're thinking along the lines of mostly homemade and/or homesteading types of products. Things to help families/homes become more self-reliant etc.. Things to help families live a more 'natural' lifestyle. The skies the limit really. We'd like to keep it open enough that if one child decides they want to sell horse related items, they can. If another child wants to sell wooden homemade items, they can. Etc..

Which of these names do you feel is best, keeping all that in mind?

Come on, don't be shy! We need your help!

Hi Pietra. I like both names, but The Prairie Home sounds better when you say it. I like the picture in my that I get for both names, though. Not sure which I like better, though.
That sounds like an exciting new adventure!
Also, I liked reading your new schedule-I'm always curious how other people arrange their days! Holly

I like the first one. It states the goal of things being "homemade".

I like both as well.

The first one makes me think of a bunch of homemade things on a farm or something like that. The 2nd name makes me think of a magazine that has a similar name.
