Kerri: I was taking a break from doing the church bulletin doing some surfing and came on your blog. I enjoyed my visit. I can identify with what you said about you and your daughter in "Raising Teens - Part 4" post. I homeschooled my daughter and she is quite well adjusted and quite happy at home till the Lord sends her a hubby. She graduated college with a double major and has a good job and is quite a blessing!

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for our home.
I know I complain about our home quite often. Living in such a small space with 7 people isn't always easy. This home is a blessing though. Because of it, and it's location, and because we were able to get it cheap because it was such a dump, we will be able to afford our next and hopefully, final, home!

If it wasn't for God leading us to this home/hobby farm, our dream of owning a 'real' farm would probably never stand a chance to become a reality.

I'm also thankful that it's listed, and that we are not getting a ton of calls for showings from people who are just being nosey! That happened last fall, and was NOT fun at all. We only need one buyer, and if that's the only showing we get, I'll be happy.
