Kerri: I was taking a break from doing the church bulletin doing some surfing and came on your blog. I enjoyed my visit. I can identify with what you said about you and your daughter in "Raising Teens - Part 4" post. I homeschooled my daughter and she is quite well adjusted and quite happy at home till the Lord sends her a hubby. She graduated college with a double major and has a good job and is quite a blessing!

It's windy outside!

It's extremely windy outside tonight.

My husband is out with the local police (he's a volunteer/auxiliary) and probably won't be home until some time between 2-4 am. It's funny how I probably wouldn't even notice the wind if he were home right now.

I'm always amazed by weather. Earlier this evening it was completely calm, yet now it's blowing so hard I'm expecting the master bedroom balcony doors to blow open any minute!

That's how life can be some times. Things can be calm, peaceful, and then suddenly, a wind blows in and changes everything. We can prepare for these storms, yet they still catch us off guard.

Our family's future is so full of uncertainty. We have no idea where we are going, or when, yet we still have peace, most of the time.

We had a big storm a couple of nights ago. It just rattled and shook the house making everything groan and I was wishing Dh was home *grin* Great verse, I could have used it that night! :)
