Easter at our place

We had a quiet Easter this year. The kids were hoping the grandparents would pop by, but we didn't hear from them so it was just us.

I hid 50 packages of Easter goodies all over the one part of our property, probably over about an acre, and all five kids went hunting them down. That was lots of fun and I got some photos of all the kids, so I thought I would share.

Each child was told to find 10 packages and then stop looking so the others would each find their 10 packages as well. Normally I would put the goodies in those plastic Easter eggs, but I packed them last summer. lol So that's why this year I used little baggies.

Julia was the last one to find all her packages, so everyone followed her around trying to help her find them. Here is is finally discovering one after she walked past it several times and everyone was laughing that she didnt' see it.

The weather was very strange yesterday. We woke up to sunshine and warm air. Then it clouded over around the time we began our hunt. As we were finishing up, it began to rain. A little while later it became sunny again. Then once again it clouded over and a storm rolled in! The winds picked up and it began to SNOW! I really should have snapped a pic. lol Once the snow stopped, it became sunny once again, only to cloud over as it started to get dark and snow and blow a little more.

Very strange day.

We woke up to snow this morning to :o Luckily not to much and the sun is melting it off already. Sounds like you had a wonderful day!
Blessings to you and your family.
