Kerri: I was taking a break from doing the church bulletin doing some surfing and came on your blog. I enjoyed my visit. I can identify with what you said about you and your daughter in "Raising Teens - Part 4" post. I homeschooled my daughter and she is quite well adjusted and quite happy at home till the Lord sends her a hubby. She graduated college with a double major and has a good job and is quite a blessing!

A request for your prayers

I'm coming to you all with a request for prayer.

We've found a house we really love. It has 5 bedrooms, and a sewing room (you may all recall, we're in a 2 bedroom home with 5 kids right now, including 2 teens lol).

The only problem is, of course our home here needs to sell before we can get that home. We can't move forward until this place sells. It's been on the market now for over two months. We've having an open house this Sunday. We've seen several cars drive by, stop, pick up one of our realtors flyers, sit in their cars and look around. So we know there's interest.

We've been through all this before, and we know God's timing is always perfect. We know He is in control.

But, we have no church family at this time and so I come to you all for prayer. We truly appreciate them.
