What do you do when your family is broke and it's your dh's birthday? Grab your camera, and take them all to the harbour of course!
Last weekend we decided to take Saturday (dh's birthday) off and leave the house for the day (and secretly hope our agent would show the house while we were gone, which didn't happen, but oh well, the house was clean!).
Anywho...
Dh, having some fun.

Growing up? We don't believe in it.
My three youngest. See the cool swings they have? Do they have these everywhere? They are special designed for children who do not have the use of their legs.

Look at the hair on my 10 year old! (on the right, in the pink). lol
Told you we don't believe in growing up. Even my almost 17 year old has been brainwashed by our way of thinking.

I love the color at the playground. Great for photos. I STILL don't have photoshop, so these are pretty much SOOC.

Our youngest (twin). She's a true cowgirl. Really.

Meanwhile, our 10 year old is our life size barbie, and likes it that way. She's a princess too and expects to be treated as such. Don't know where she got that idea. lol
For her sake, I really hope we move SOON. She kind of gets lost in the shuffle of the busyness of our lives right now. I try not to let that happen, but it still does. The eldest two are always busy working alongside dh and I, the twins are always playing with one another and our 10 year old joins in too, but sometimes, she gets left out. When life isn't so busy, she's my little sidekick and she likes it that way.

Our 'older' twin, always my wind blown beauty.

Dh and the girls.

Dh, asking the kids; "If the tide comes in, will the ladder on the side of this dock become covered, or less deep?" (do you know the answer? lol)

Who on earth is that with dh? That can't be my 'little' boy.

Scenes from the harbour.

I cheated and popped this photo with a bit of color.
A seagul.
Dh says he can't wait until we get on the ferry for the last time and say goodbye to the Island and hello to our new life.
I'll be excited to say hello to our new life, but I can't say I'm excited to say goodbye to the Island. It's a very bittersweet move for me. I've always loved the ocean, the mountains, the views. I will truly miss them.
