Kerri: I was taking a break from doing the church bulletin doing some surfing and came on your blog. I enjoyed my visit. I can identify with what you said about you and your daughter in "Raising Teens - Part 4" post. I homeschooled my daughter and she is quite well adjusted and quite happy at home till the Lord sends her a hubby. She graduated college with a double major and has a good job and is quite a blessing!

The newest member of our family

We picked up the newest member of our family yesterday, my new 'baby'.

The trip to get him was a disaster, seriously. It was a 2 hour drive to the airport. We barely made it there, and then hobbled home in the suburban, only to have it completely die on us 20 mins from home.

Anywho, we made it home, the girls and I in a cab, dh and ds with the tow truck. I don't know what we're going to do about this vehicle. My van is sitting in the driveway because I didn't want to put any money into it if we're moving soon, because we already decided not to take it with us, but every time the suburban breaks down, we have no vehicle, so I guess the van will be going into the shop once the suburban is done. We just put 2600.00 into it last week, and need to put another 1500.00 into it for the air conditioning system. I think that will have to wait though. lol

Enough about that though. lol

So here's the newest member of the family!

Very hard to get a good photo of a puppy doggie without some one holding him still, lol.

He's such a good puppy. He's only had one mistake and that wasn't his fault, eldest dd set him on the floor to play and he figured it must be pee time. lol He slept with me last night and waited until 8:30 this morning to go pee. I hardly slept, only because I was so unsure of how he'd be and did not want to wake up in a puddle of piddle. lol But such is life with a new 'baby'. ha ha!

He's already met our other two dogs. They don't know what to think of him yet. He wanted to play with them but they just kind of looked at him like he was some sort of little beast with two heads. lol

Oh he his just adorable!! I have thought about getting a papillon in the past but I'm still waiting until we don't have so many little hands that tend to be a little rough at times. *grin* I've got a ton of itty bitty 'chi' dog clothes that I made for selling on ebay. I kept all of the originals so that one day when I could get one I'd have lots of fun clothing :P
Sorry to hear about your vehicles :( Hope that it doesn't cost to much to get your van going again. Our air conditioner in the car went to and I would love to get it fixed but we're holding off just a bit still.
